Poem Map
My poems draw from encounters and stories I gathered for my features, "Rebelles: Ivoirian women fight for change" and "Art as Reconciliation” in different communes in Abidjan and cities in Côte d'Ivoire. My collection breathes life into voices often unheard, from a young girl making charcoal in San Pedro to the Fanicos (or laundrymen) of Banco Forest and the neglected animals of the Abidjan Zoo. Radiant Wound reflects on tradition, resilience, and survival, bearing witness to the long, imperfect journey toward healing.
In the next section you will find another version of the poem map and instructions on how to read the poems.
